Protein bar review: Aloha White Chocolate Pepperm Protein bar review:

Aloha White Chocolate Peppermint 6/10. Tasted just ok. I would not but again. The macros were pretty decent though. 210c/14p/10f/5 WWPoints

Barebells Peppermint Bark 3/10. Too chewy, not a great flavor by Barebells. It tasted artificial. The macros were good. 210c/20p/2f/6 WWPoints

Built Candy Cane Puff 10/10. My favorite holiday bar. Macros are pretty good, but this bar does have some sugar. 140c/17p/0f/5 WWPoints

Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake 50/10. The clear winner! The macros...well they suck, but my favorite holiday treat. Don't judge!!! 220c/1p/0f/12 WWPoints.

Thanksgiving always feels like the beginning of th Thanksgiving always feels like the beginning of the end of the year to me.

It’s the day we pause to reflect, but also start anticipating what the new year will bring.

This year has held more loss than my heart ever expected. Some days the sadness feels so heavy that gratitude feels impossible. But they are not opposites. If you make room, grief and gratitude can live side by side.

Today I’m grateful for the people I get to love, the memories I get to carry, and the strength to keep showing up even when it hurts.

Holding it all with an open heart.
Grateful. And grieving. Both can be true.

My most requested recipe is Triple Berry Sauce. Th My most requested recipe is Triple Berry Sauce. This is that...on steroids!

Holiday Triple Berry Sauce

3 g fiber 

Here's how I did it:

2- 12oz bags fresh cranberries 
2 - 12oz bags frozen mixed berries (I use a cherry berry blend)
1/4 c swerve or truvia brown sugar substitute 
3/4 c Truvia Granulated Sugar Sub
3/4-1 c water
1 tbs lemon juice 
Strip of orange zest (optional, but it shouldn't be!)
Cinnamon stick (optional, but it shouldn't be!)
2 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla bean paste (optional, but it shouldn't be!)
Add all ingredients to a saucepan, except the lemon zest.

1. Bring to a boil, and simmer until cranberries pop and mixture thickens. (When it coats the back of your spoon and you can draw a line in it and it stays.)

2. Remove from heat, add lemon zest and allow to cool. Enjoy!

Serving size about 2 oz

This time last year, I was on the fast track to undoing all my progress. Up 67 lbs and heading right back to where I started.

I’m down 37 lbs from the time I reset — 85 lbs from the beginning.

I’m still here, and this is a battle I plan to win.

The seasons in our lives serve us in many differen The seasons in our lives serve us in many different ways—but none had more of an impact on the trajectory of my life than my time in the United States Navy.

My decision to join? Well, think An Officer and a Gentleman—“I got nowhere else to go!” It was a desperate choice at a tough time, as I was heading down the wrong path. But soon, it became about duty, purpose, and the honor of serving alongside others who would become lifelong friends.

The Navy gave me a new direction and instilled values—integrity, resilience, and dedication to something greater than myself—that continue to shape who I am today.

So, to all who have served, and all who continue to make the choice to serve: thank you for your service and for the camaraderie that comes with it.
